A Few Things From My Visit
Thanks for your help and suggestions for our recent trip to Oriole Park. Thought I'd list a few things that stuck with me from the games. We watched the Danny C complete game on Wednesday the 2nd and the loss on Thursday the 3rd.
1. Amber Theoharis is hotter in person than on TV. I'm not really that big of a fan but she looked decent interviewing Danny after the game.
2. Clancy rocks...the guy down the 3B line that pounds his chest and yells while peddling beer...not so much.
3. I saw the biggest rat ever cross the street by the civic center. I think they may have stopped traffic for him.
4. Black B-Rob jersey t-shirts in a men/women's small or youth large are virtually impossible to find. I had to talk my wife off the ledge b/c she wanted an official jersey at that point.
5. The ushers seemed like hard-asses.
Can't wait for my next trip.
6. I forgot...Joey Gaithright can flat out go get it CF. It's amazing how much ground he covers. Too bad for the Royals he can't hit for shit.

chest pounding beer peddler
I actually love him. He’s the shaky lemonade guy of old.. When Camden Yards first opened he sold lemonade behind home plate and would go into violent convulsions shaking the lemonade before giving it to you. Now he’s moved up to beer and just acts like a maniac. I can’t go to You Tube at work but if you go there and do a search for shaky lemonade guy, there is a video of him doing his thing.
Other favorite vendors of mine are Danny and Perry. They’re brothers. One works the 3rd base/left field side, the other the third base side of the upper deck. Perry is the guy who has the contraption that automatically cuts off the top of the beer can to pour the beer into the cup faster. Now that they all sell the plastic or aluminum bottles he has contraption that automatically twists off the bottle top, but it’s more shtick than anything.
No one is as awesome as Clancy, though.

always sort of creeped me out. just thought there was something sort of unseemly about him and his popularity w/ the kids.
s’allgood now that he’s a beer dude…also, i woud’ve never pegged him to SOUND like he does.

Beer woman in flag court
She’s my favorite. I make sure to stop by and see her no matter where I’m sitting.

Danny...
He’s not the one who used to rock the samarai head band, is he? That dude used to do football at Byrd stadium, too.

Danny or Perry
One of the guys works all 3 Mid-Atlantic parks (Nationals, Orioles, Phillies). The guy seems to be everywhere I go, which makes the people I go with think that I have a serious drinking problem as I know everything about the beer vendor 120 miles from my home.
