Help me with choosing a seat!?!?

Alright, so I'm looking to go to baltimore on July 23, its turn back the clock night and can get tickets for $5.50. So i wen't to ticket master to see where the seats were, and it was section 330 UB (upper box behind home plate). I was wondering how good the view is up there, and if the ushers are strict about moving down. Any advice for other ways to get cheaper seats at better view let me know. I haven't been to the yard in years since i moved to VA. (fyi, i'm going with my grandfather in his 70's if that makes a difference)

330 UB is really nice

Upper Box is the closer level in the upper deck, and that’s practically right behind home plate. You’ll have a really nice view of the entire field. The ushers can be pretty strict about moving down, especially if there is a big crowd, which there could be at that game. I don’t know that you’ll want to move down, though. That’s a good section.

It is a good section..

especially for the money. I took this picture from that area a couple of years ago.

You can see the Bromoselzter tower in that pic

Sadly, no more…

Take those seats

They are good. The one caveat is that the upper few rows of the Upper Box are actually in what should rightfully be considered the Upper Reserve (ie, above the walkway area, whereas the legit box is below the walkway). So, lower rows can be considerably better than higher rows. Unfortunately, I don’t remember what row the walkway starts at.

The best value in the ballpark

$15 (BO price) in the upper reserve, right over home plate.

I actually wish THAT was where the camera is for TV. See the whole field, every player, for the entire play.

Ushers aren’t too strict, I’ve never seen anyone kicked out, but I’ve seen (and have been told) simply to go back to your correct seat. Never try to sit in padded seats with the cup holders. Don’t even try…

Limited View?

I’m looking at tix for the MFY series. I found some in that area that were limited view, row B I think. Is this because of the walkway in front?

Is that in the upper deck?

There are a few places in the upper deck where the railing goes up higher because it’s above the tunnel back to the concourse, and the seats are sort of blocked by the higher railing. It’s a little annoying, but not a deal breaker. If there are other limited view seats I’m unaware of them.
