Rangers (60-58) at Orioles (56-59)

Texas Rangers at Baltimore Orioles, Aug 10, 2008 1:35 PM EDT

Capt

Matt Harrison (LHP)

W-L 3-2     ERA 6.46
K 7              Walks 17
WHIP 1.73

Chris (H2O) Waters (LHP)

W-L 1-0     ERA 0.00
K 3             Walks 3
WHIP 0.50

I'm on my way to my in-laws before we fly to Disney tomorrow, so make sure you bug SC to get GameDay threads up while I'm gone. The new, Kevin Millar-approved nickname for Chris Waters is apparently H2O, so I guess we'll go with that for now. Hopefully, he looks great again today, and the way Texas has looked at the plate the last two nights and with a day game, conditions should favor Waters. Go get 'em, O's! SWEEP! SWEEP! SWEEP!

Now, I gotta go see about a mouse in Florida with the wife and kids. See y'all in 7 days.

i agree..

that first play is i’m prefectly fine with Castro at short. even if he doesn’t hit (i know he’s hurt)
went from popup should be an out, to a ‘single’, then ‘h2o’ lost focus, threw 5 straight balls including a wild pitch, then came back and piped a belt-high fastball to Josh Hamilton..heh. and its snowballed from there..

White Sox won (obviously, beat Red Sox)
Twins tied w/ Royals in the 11th.

I’m rooting for both of these teams so one of them will be the wild card.

Wild Card out of AL Central

And Rays taking the East would be so freaking awesome.
