Today's Starting Pitchers GS IP ERA WHIP BAA HR BB K W-L
Dennis Sarfate - RH 3 (48) 61.0 5.16 1.61 .221 6 50 62 4-2
Justin Verlander - RH 25 158.1 4.77 1.29 .237 15 63 123 8-13

Oh...no.

Ah, God...

It's Sarfate. Starting.

Strap in. Or go do something else with your Saturday. Seriously. Summer's almost over, it's another lost season (though a fun, admirable lost season) and it's Sarfate.

aw

sarfate ain’t that bad of a pitcher when he was an RP, maybe he’ll step it up this start.

No, he was OK and occasionally dominant as a RP. He is beyond God awful as a SP. I’m seeing why he was moved out of this role years ago.

leave it on...

WHILE cleaning. then, when sir farty gives up his first of 8 homers, you can return to your windexing, pledging, etc.

I’ve just made an Orioles Forum, it has a nice clean looking skin and I have just started searching for members. If you’d like to come and join us I would definitely appreciate that.

Did Sarfate just do what I thought he did?

Well, that would have been better if Castro had fielded cleanly

on the first hit, but hey, damage control from Sarfate, 1 run instead of 8.

Summer's almost over

At least I’m not in denial anymore.

There is some beautiful symmetry in two runs scoring for the O’s on an error by the opposing 3B…when Mora was hitting…

buck was saying earlier...

how this could be one of his best offensive seasons ever.

uh, except for that year he won the silver slugger, right buck?

Didn't he win it two years?

He had the two ridiculously good years in a row.

The ball dropped about a foot

and Ordonez looked quite silly swinging at it.

Both they and we have been surprised by our mediocrity-- but for us it's been pleasantly so.

Whoa, Randor got out of that one with, like, zero margin for error...

But remember, Randor is Rodnar backwards.

Holy crap, Buck, the only Jay in this game is Payton, and he is not Blue.

Well, that sucked.

I hope these umpires enjoy their time in the hellhole that is Detroit, Michigan, fucking terrible call on Payton, and enormous strike zone for anyone with a D on their hat, tiny one for anyone with a bird.
