Making First Ever Trip to Camden Yards
I'm coming up to Baltimore for the very first time! Since my Dad wasn't able to make it to New York with me I convinced him to make the trip to Baltimore to watch the Yankees play the O's. We're going to be flying into Baltimore on Friday August 22nd and staying until Monday August 25th. Right now I have tickets for the Saturday night game down the first base line in section 3. I'm still working on getting tickets for the Friday and Sunday games. We're planning on taking the tour of the stadium and visiting both the Babe Ruth and Sport Legends Museums. I was wondering what would be some other cool things to do while we are in town. Let me know if anybody is planning on going to any of the games that weekend and we can meet up. Also if anybody has ticket to the Friday and Sunday games that they would like to get rid of please let me know.

The National Aquariam is fun.
If you’re into marine biology type things.

If you have children...
Port Discovery is neat.
Kevbo: [to George Sherrill] George, you look a lot like Vin Diesel...
Flatbill: Let's get somethin' straight... Vin Diesel looks like me.

My personal faves
Ft. McHenry
The USS Constellation on the inner harbor (you can do 3 other historical ships as well)
Vaccaro’s in Little Italy (best desert shop ever)
Oh, and Crabs. Find some crabs.

This is really cool!
My wife and I did this last summer. I’d gone aboard them years ago, but forgotten how cool it is, especially the submarine.
Little Italy’s some great eating. My parents love Sabatinos. I haven’t been down as often as them, but I liked Chiapparellis a little better. Vaccaro’s is awesome. Their “Death by Chocolate” is one of the few deserts I’ve not been able to finish—not because it wasn’t delicious, but just the sheer enormousity of it.

There are a couple places I'd recommend
If you’re looking for an awesome crab cake, you should go to Faidley’s in Lexington Market. It’s within walking distance of the stadium and you can’t beat the food or the atmosphere.
If you’re looking for steamed crabs, there aren’t many places right near the harbor/camden yards (although if there are, someone please correct me. I’d love to know a great crab place in that area). I’d suggest for steamed crabs L.P. Steamers on Fort Avenue in Locust Point. That’s the closest to the area you’ll be in, and it’s true Baltimore. It’s a small corner restaurant run by a family. And on nice days you can sit on the rooftop deck and eat with a lovely view of the city. This is my local crab joint and where I usually go out for crabs.
Another option is Obrycki’s on East Pratt Street in Fell’s Point. I guess that’s Fell’s Point…maybe Butcher’s Hill? Anyway, it’s a nice place as well and a bit more “restaurant-y” than L.P Steamers, with a decent sized dining room. They also have a better non steamed crab menu, if you want crab cakes, cream of crab soup, etc. It’s also a place I’d be more likely to take out-of-towners for crabs.
Those are probably your two most centrally located joints. I’m sure you can google either of them and get good information. A word of warning, do NOT go to Phillips at the Inner Harbor. It’s a tourist trap and the food is substandard.

I'll be there Monday
Also for my 1st trip to OPACY. No, I’m not stalking you, but we should meet up.
I’ll be there Sunday in 326 UR row A. And the law of regression predicts a WIN.
