Gregg Olson induction on right now
They cut it off right in the middle to go to commercial. LAME.

I can't watch any of the games this weekend
because all the Rangers games are blacked out on MLB.TV since I live in Louisiana.

Did you read the fanshot I posted earlier today?
They are re-evaluated the blackout restrictions in the off season. They want to make it so that you would only get blacked on EI/mlb.tv if that team actually has a local broadcast in your area. Makes much more sense. Hopefully next year you won’t have to deal with it.

I would be so happy if they did that. Right now the restrictions make no sense.

I just hope.....
.....it doesn’t screw up the MASN deal down here. We don’t have an Orioles broadcast affiliate, but since we’re in the Orioles territory we get all the games on MASN through DirecTV.

Skill awards.....
Merit badges are Boy Scouts. He will get BB shooting, which did my heart good, considering his vision. He actually hit the paper 6 out of 25 times. For a kid with his vision problems, that’s just short of a miracle. I’ve never been more in debt two two teenage boys than I was his den counselor and the rifle range manager. Those guys spent 20 minutes with just him helping him out. You’ve never seen a 8 year old more proud of BB holes 3 inches away from a target on a paper than my boy…but he had reason to be proud. And so did I.
So, see you guys in 8 days – I’ll be back next Sunday after the game. Maybe they will keep scoring 9 runs a game while I’m gone. And if they do, promise not to change the locks to my house, OK?
