Thanks for the assist

Loved that show as a kid.

Been spending all weekend reading about McCain’s pick. And laughing my ass off.

Sorry for the politics. GO O’S!

+1 to the laughing

I was impressed he found a way to not improve on Obama’s picking of Biden.

As a rule...

I don’t mess with ANYONE about names. Pot, meet kettle, you see. Of course, I didn’t pick my last name.

Murphy is one of those guys

where you look at where he is now and go…“wow, he WAS really good once, wasn’t he?”

Yes, I’m well aware I’m not old enough to be making that statement.

He stopped being good...

somewhere around 1986, I think. Maybe earlier.

But “C-I-L-L My Landlord” was hilarious on SNL.

No, they aren't.

They’re overreacting to Lou not getting a start in Boston, he’s gotten into a lot of games, and well, Jay is a better LF than him at this moment, and he’s been swinging a hot bat, as well.

They just wanted him to stay healthy.

For a full year, and he’s done that, he’ll be at Norfolk next year.

He's healthy now

And they are sending him to the AFL so they aren’t worried about wearing him down.

Again, I’m not going to freak out about it or anything, but at the very least they guy should get rewarded with a callup and a few starts in September.

by dkdc on Sep 1, 2008 7:26 PM EDT to parent up   0 recs

Eh.

Let him play the next two weeks in Bowie, and then give him a break until AFL play starts.

Someone in the Orioles front office absolutely HATES Nolan Reimold, he isn’t even getting consideration. His numbers in a year and a half at Bowie are very solid and the most action he is getting is the AFL.

Regarding Orioles Hangout: I just fundamentally disagree with so many things on that site. They all want to add Sheets/Sabathia/Garland/Burnett along with Tex to contend for one year; they assume that Mora/Huff/Roberts would all keep it up. And in no way should Jay be starting over Lou, see my fanpost.

We aren't just losing some games

We are losing them in Baltimore style. This is a typical Orioles stretch where they will lose 11 of 13 games. It is one thing to lose every other series to a good team, but the Orioles are on the verge of getting swept every time they go out.
