Brandon Fahey

Star-divide

is no longer with the team.  The Blue Jays picked him up.  This is easily the best news of the off-season.  I couldn't stand the guy, so now I am glad he is gone.

I am glad that the Jays have a new batboy.

I'll always have a soft spot for Fahey

He is listed at 6’2" and 160 lbs. This happens to be my height/weight also. Of his two career home runs, one was off Curt Schilling. So I was living vicariously through him – I mean, if Brandon Fahey could hit a home run off Schilling, maybe I could have, too.

Dude makes me feel fat

at 6’2" 180 lbs. Another reason why I hate him.

Brandon Fahey should go into boxing

If he trained and cut weight he could make 147, maybe even 140. He’d be a monster welter or junior welter. Plus then maybe I could watch people punch him in the face.

I'd rather watch me punch him in the face

Why not MMA.

Then you could see someone break his arm and punch him in the face.

MMA is a lot harder to learn

Brandon would have freakish physical stature for his weight in boxing.

True dat

You need to learn MULTIPLE disciplines to be effective in MMA – striking, some wrestling (freestyle and greco), a lot of Brazilian ju-jitsu, and that’s before you get to the dieting and conditioning. Not that boxing doesn’t have a pretty steep learning curve, too, but MMA is ridiculously hard to become adequate at.

well,

now what am I going to do with his autograph

Screw you Brandon Fahey!

How dare he be so disloyal? I mean, MAYBE if he went to the national league or the AL West. But a division rival? He’s just in it for the money, clearly.

Hey

He wants to go to a winning team, I can’t blame him.

My best game plan is to sit on the bench and call out specific instructions like 'C'mon Boog,' 'Get ahold of one, Frank,' or 'Let's go, Brooks.' -Earl Weaver

The only

reason he hasn’t left before this is that the Orioles didn’t want him to win a championship!

i challenge...

someone to write a breathless editorial about the fahey signing in the vein of nhz’s royals blog’s write up of “base knock” bako signing w/ the o’s. still a classic of the genre!

I'll knock back a few and do it tonight

I have never hated an Oriole as much as I hate Fahey. And the funny thing is, I don’t know why?

at least...

burrell and drew are actually players. fahey’s just, like, a guy. a guy that’s happened to play a few games in the majors, but, oh, well.

i would welcome back fay-fay at any time. plenty of seats are bound to be available in the upper deck this year.

because it just was a brutal

reminder of how bad the Orioles were to employ him, especially when he was a LEFT fxxxxxx OUTFIELDER.

As for BF himself, he made a career out of hard work, versatility, etc and he can feel proud that he has been a major leaguer, one of the very elite few.

But I hated him being on our team anywhere, cause he just isnt very good.

Fahey

He is Adam Loewen’s secret lover and they will frolic into the Canadien Wilderness to get naked and eat raw steak by a campfire under the evergreen trees.

I wonder if Loewen

is able to use his left arm yet, cause otherwise righty is gonna get awful tired on that night!!

ahahaha, god

I imagined Loewen and Fahey meeting together in the woods under cover of darkness, spotting one another, and dramatically embracing. It’s even funnier given that Loewen is 6’5" and built like it.
