I got nothin'.

We’ve shut down so many guys that we’re throwing Waters out there?
This isn’t even a productive “let’s see what they can do” type of thing. Maybe 4 straight forfeits to end the season isn’t a horrible idea.

I mean

I know he hasn’t had many chances this year, but he hasn’t been good. He’s given up 6 runs in 7 innings as a reliever. His numbers weren’t good in Norfolk and he split time between starting and relieving. I’d have to see the splits to know for sure and I don’t feel like looking them up.

My mom would have pitched a fit at any more than that

As it was, she bitched at him enough he gave that up. Then, of all things, he switched to wine coolers a few years later. Somehow, that was more acceptable. Never got used to the sight of my redneck dad, coming home from the factory, cracking open a Bartles & Jaymes wine cooler. That just ain’t right.

It's also just one of those things where whatever can go wrong will.

Like that ball Zaun hit – that’s just a bullshit groundball that sqeaked through. And the ball to center was hit about as softly as you can hit a ball and still have it go to the outfield.

Yeah

I just looked and his BABIP over the past 14 days is .475 and .355 over the past 28 days. He’s not catching any breaks for sure.

I feel like that's what happens though.

When you pitch like shit you also get unlucky. Of course it’s much worse because there are also guys on base who you either walked or they earned their way on.

This didn't really happen, did it?

I’m sure the O’s will have to forfeit for some reason.

I wonder if I can bill Jeff Lurie and Peter Angelos for the years of therapy their teams are going to put me through.
