NLCS GameThread: Phillies @ Dodgers, 8:07 PM
After two nights off, post-season baseball resumes with a rematch of the 2008 NLCS. Last year the Phillies defeated the Dodgers 4 games to 1 on their march to the championship. Clayton Kershaw makes the start for the Dodgers, Cole Hamels for the Phillies. Kershaw made one start in the NLDS vs the Cardinals, going 6.2 innings and giving up 2 runs on 9 hits, earning the win. Hamels also pitched one game in the NLDS and didn't fare so well against the Rockies, giving up 4 runs in 5 innings in the Philles only loss of the series.
If, like me, you're pulling for George Sherrill and Dodgers, hit up True Blue LA for all the latest. If you've got the east coast bias, The Good Phight has all your Phillies needs.
All NLCS games will be played on TBS this year, with the ALCS moving over to FOX.

This game apparently didn't sell out
that’s almost enough for me to start rooting for the Phillies

It'd take many large, swarth-enhanced men carrying clubs with nails in them and guns to make me root for the Ph*cking Phillies
Strange as it seems coming from somebody with little or no use for CA south of San Luis (or maybe Santa Barbara), I’m actually hoping for an all-LA see-reeze. Which the Angels win, of course. Enough NPL anomalies already.

i had a lengthy debate today about whether shane victorino could beat three hungry, full-grown komodo dragons in a death match if he had a bat and full batting gear
we arrived at the conclusion he could probably beat two … but three would probably overpower him.

Oh, Flat Breezy... that was tough.
But not all that surprising to Orioles fans.

It's a small town!
We were all on the same dorm floor at UMBC several years ago. Then thanks to Matt Wieters Facts, they became Orioles fan internet celebrities. To think, I knew them back when!
