Brian Roberts named MVO for 2009
Brian Roberts has been named Most Valuable Oriole for the second time, beating out Nick Markakis. Adam Jones was third.
Roberts also won it in 2005.
Markakis is the only other player to receive a first-place vote. Brad Bergesen, Cesar Izturis and Nolan Reimold also received votes from the media that covers the team.
Congrats to Brian. He would have been my pick as well. I just want to know who in the media got Jason Bartlett Syndrome and voted for Cesar Izturis.

Definitely the clearest choice to me as well.
