Extra Innings Game Thread for Twins vs. Tigers
Is anyone watching this? Tied 5-5 going into the bottom of the 11th inning. I was listening to the game starting in the top of the 9th on the radio and just got home to see the end on TV. Hell of a game!

Huff had on AB
Where he triumphantly got hit by the pitch.

Huff
I was pulling for the twins until Huff came up and then I became sympathetic toward the tigers.

Whichever team wins
they are going to be freaking exhausted when they get to NY

I honestly don't care who wins
I guess I’m sort of for the Tigers because I’d like to see Huff in the playoffs. But it’s hard not to root for a smaller market team like the Twins.

I want the Tigers for Huff
but I was listening to the Minnesota feed in the car and they were SO excited it made me want them to win a little. Im easily impressionable.

Remember when Dane Cook did the postseason commercials?
That sucked. I’m glad people don’t still act like he’s funny all the time.

Really fantastic game. Just fantastic.
Sadly I cannot see any way that the Twins are anything more than a sacrificial lamb before the inevitable Yankees-Red Sox matchup.
Seriously, I think the Yankees will butcher them hastily and consume them raw and bloody. I doubt it will be pretty.
Here’s hoping I’m wrong.

I agree with you
If the Twins beat the Yankees it will be the biggest miracle I’ve ever witnessed.

Yankees offense is just to good
I think Yankees will win the series 3-1, 1-0, 2-0, 2-1, 3-1

what the hell?
that’s five games, with them winning them all? i think they’d stop after three.

I was thinking exactly the same thing....
The Twins bullpen is decimated now, and they’re already outmatched.
Awesome game, though!

And Aubrey Huff misses the playoffs for another year
