Uh...
Does Schmuck actually say that MacPhail is going to hold Trembley accountable for W’s and is thinking of replacing Mora with two guys who hit even less than Mora does?

Bell is still hitting !!!
And some of it is right handed. That’s good news from the AFL. Maybe someone is working with him on RH hitting out there? I hope this young man pans out as well as he looks, to me. Maybe we can put up with Wiggy at 3B til Bell is ready. Hopefully before mid season.
I still say the real off season priority has to be a cleanup hitter and 1B. Snyder / Aubrey / Hughes / etc. are not the long term answer. If the asking price for Gonzalez / Fielder is too high, I hope they at least trade for a young 1B with 40 HR potential. Snyder, even if he succeeds, will never be that 40 HR cleanup hitter. He is more of a Mark Grace type hitter at best. The O’s need a real masher at 1B and cleanup.

Not just some of it
It is a very very small sample size, of course, but in the AFL Bell is 9 for 17 with three doubles against left-handed pitching with three walks, for an OPS of 1.325.

And where exactly is this player going to come from? Only 5 players in baseball hit 40 home runs in the past year, and you named two of them.

The injury report is interesting.
Perhaps Patton can make it back if he is stronger. Anyone consider using him in the bullpen as a lefty?
