Despite offering a public mea culpa Monday, Alex Rodriguez might not be in the clear just yet.
Baseball commissioner Bud Selig revealed he is considering suspending the Yankees superstar for admitting to using performance-enhancing drugs, according to a report in USA Today.
"It was against the law, so I would have to think about that," Selig told the newspaper Wednesday in his first comments since Rodriguez's admission. "It's very hard. I've got to think about all that kind of stuff."

Honestly if he suspends A-Rod and the other 103 fucking players on that list walk around scot free, I’ll be slightly annoyed, even as much as I dislike Rodriguez.
"I was trying to rob him. And he took my gun from me. And the gun was full of blanks. And he shot a blank into my eye. And now I cannot see from this eye ever again, the doctors say."
"Well to be honest it sounds like it's all your fault."
yet another reason
why he won’t do it.
YOU WON’T DO IT, BUD! YOU WON’T DO IT, BUD!
/best way to start a fight in a high school. Figured it might work.

May actually be a clever move on his part
He could be trying to force the union’s hand on releasing the rest of the names on the list.
Eh, wait a minute. This is Bud-Bud we’re dealing with here. He’s just talking to hear himself talk.
You can't fix stupid. Stupid is forever.
What about Pettitte and Giambi...
Both of them have admited to using steriods, but they were never suspended. I don’t see how MLB would ever be able to justify this. It’s there fault it got this bad in the first place.
Why does he need to think about it?
It’s against the testing agreement. Not to mention, didn’t Bud know who was and wasn’t on this list 2 weeks ago? Seems to me the only thing that’s different is now I know about ARod being on the list.
I hate Bud Selig.

Haha. Bud has to think about all that kind of stuff. It’s right up there with the “this time it counts” All Star game. Don’t think too hard and blow yourslef in two, Bud.
I always thought that...
the ONE redeeming feature about the Theft of Florida in the 2000 election was who it prevented from becoming baseball commissioner.
Now I’m not so sure that he wouldn’t have been an improvement over Kenesaw Molehill Selig.

Perhaps you're right
the events of the last 8 years are all the vindication I need.

I wish Bud Selig would fall off a cliff or something soon.

Should everyone spend precious time dumping on on Pretend Commissioner Bud?
Is a bear Protestant? Does the Archbishop of Canterbury poop in the woods? I’ll never stop dumping on Bud, that relentlessly stoopid f*ck, until he takes his little small-market small mind and puts a small-bore piece of high-velocity metal-jacketed lead through it. Twice.
What? OK, I’ll help with the control shot.
