He should be a sure thing defensively and might surprise us with a little bit of offense. At a minimum, having a plus glove at short has to be fairly significant for a pitching staff as suspect as ours is going to be.

I also voted for Izturis

But, the Hill and Pie trades have the potencial to be the biggest moves. Izturis is a sure thing. He will give them a great glove and enough offense to still have value. The Izturis signing was very much needed. The Pie and Hill moves weren’t really necessary, but were still very smart moves.
