Chris Ray Questions
I've been given the opportunity to be able to ask Chris Ray a few questions. Post some good question ideas to ask him. I'd prefer if you only leave serous questions haha. Lets think of a couple questions that Roch or somebody else hasn’t asked him though. He seems like a pretty cool guy so I expect some good answers. I may also be getting interviews with others in the future. I'll probably only send him around 3-5 questions.

Question
Is there any personal tension between Ray, Sherril and Johnson as they compete for the closer’s role? Or is it all professional and let-the-best-man-win?
I know this question may not evoke an honest answer :)

From the date of the surgery, just how long was it before you could pick up a baseball? And how long had it been since you hadn’t played? Age 6? Must have been weird going that long not doing something you’ve done practically every day since you were a kid.

Not a serious question
Only if you have time left over…
Q: Do you feel that to return to the ranks of the elite, you’ll need to work on the “I’m making a SCARY FACE at you!” strategy adopted by certain other closers in the AL East? ;)

Where did they take the new ligament from? Opposite wrist or hamstring?
And if it was hamstring does your leg feel back to normal?

Sort of hard to predict but,
Compared to last season how do you think the Oriole’s arms will hold up towards the end of the season considering the potential they have this year?

How does it feel to be on a rebuilding club
that, chances are, will suck this year?
"In a couple of weeks or a month, I'll be excited about this team," Dawkins said. "I've got to get used to saying that -- I'm a Bronco." Then he paused. "I'll tell you one thing -- I'll always be an Eagle."

Do you have any thoughts on what our new mascot should be? Since we have never had an official mascot since we were the Indians, and there is now a push to have a mascot…
How could he be doing his job when he didn't throw me out of the game after the things I called him?

hey Chris, who would win in a fight between you and Hadyn Penn?
I wonder if I can bill Jeff Lurie and Peter Angelos for the years of therapy their teams are going to put me through.

Would you describe your badonkadonk as an “Oakland Booty”? I kid, I kid!
Serious question: What exactly is that unusual thing Baez does with his throwing hand during his delivery when he lets go of the ball?
by Jonny Pops on Mar 3, 2009 1:53 PM EST reply actions 0 recs
Serious Answer:
He gives up base hits. And it’s not actually that unusual.

Noooooo, not that....
…points for snark though. I’m talking that little flourish he does with his throwing hand.
