Japanese pitcher Koji Uehara was getting treatment this morning for what the Japanese reporters are saying is a slight hamstring strain, though the extent of it is not clear. The 33-year-old right-hander did not pitch well in yesterday's game against the New York Mets and left the mound after only two innings, but apparently relayed to the Japanese media that his so-so performance was not the result of anything other than the reasons he gave after the game.
