Wieters Sent to Minors
Matt Wieters will be sent down to Norfolk on Monday, which is no surprise.
"It's fun up here," he said. "It's fun wherever you are, but it's even more fun up here. I'm excited to be playing in Norfolk. It's a different level of competition for me. I just want to go there and work hard and get back as soon as possible."
Wieters will have to stay in Norfolk for at least 12 days to keep another year on his contract. Most likely if Wieters does good in triple A Norfolk, he will be called up to the Majors by June. Wieters, you have been sent way, but will rise once again

This is like
the beginning of Altered Beast. Wieters will return in the form of some dominant man-beast, like a wolf, dragon, bear, or tiger of sorts. RISE FROM YOUR GRAVE!!

The metaphor works on many levels...

The four-headed bad guy represents the rest of the AL East, and Wieters is the brown beast.

NICE!
That game is my favorite installment on the Genesis Classics disc for 360. Took me all of 3 hours to beat it…which is considerably better than when I was like 7.
And I am guessing the green guy in the rear could be like Markakis. Not a bad 1-2 punch if you ask me.

Slight correction
“Wieters does good in triple A Norfolk, he will be called up to the Majors by June.”
Let’s try this…
“Wieters does good in triple A Norfolk, he will be called up to the Majors by April 25.”
FTFY
"Any guitar solos you hear on the record where it sounds like one note, sounds like Meg White playing guitar -- that's me. Any real guitar solo where a guitar comes in and you go, 'F--k, that sounds awesome!' -- that's not me." - Josh Freese

Whatever
"In a couple of weeks or a month, I'll be excited about this team," Dawkins said. "I've got to get used to saying that -- I'm a Bronco." Then he paused. "I'll tell you one thing -- I'll always be an Eagle."
