Ugh

Saturday, Sunday, and Tuesday are all supposed to be sunny, so hopefully by next week it’ll have changed and the rain will be on either Sunday or Tuesday.

that's all we can wish for

I’m optimistic though

Ugh

My wife will not be pleased about leaving work early to go sit and watch baseball (or a tarp) in the cold rain with me. I guess I have to hope that I can deflect the anger by pointing out that I offered to bring a guy friend instead and she said no.

UGH

anyway. For opening day my father and I are planning on going to Chap’s Pit Beef before the game after seeing an episode about it on the Food Network. We head up to Camden alot but have never been there. Does anyone know anything about it?

This will be three years....

in a row – with the same forcast for Opening Day – at least the temps. will be above 40 degrees. But, it’s Opening Day, no work, having a few beers, among friends, outside, watching baseball !!!! Gotta love that!!!

The Birdfans might even outnumber the Yankees fans for a change – let’s hope.

YUCK

Yesterday the chance of rain was down to 40% but today both the National Weather Service and AccuWeather have upped the chances to 80-90%, AND have tossed some thunder in there for good measure. As I sit two days from Opening Day and blinding sunshine is streaming into my window, it just doesn’t seem fair.

DAMN,....

Well the game is at 4. Are they really calling for ALL DAY showers?

at least my seats are under the overhang.

Stacey, the cherry blossoms are blooming. THere is always something to do.

We’re in the upper deck so maybe we’ll be far enough back to be under cover.

At least it’ll be gorgeous today for the Beer, Bourbon, and BBQ festival.

Weather.com says...

the rain will be stopping in plenty of time for the game – even if they delay it a bit.
Baseball is back tomorrow, kids. How am I supposed to sleep now???
