can adam eaton please sod off? i mean, remember how crummy brian burres and chris waters were last year? adam eaton was not even that good. you know what? adam eaton hasn't had a season better than chris waters (2008) in about 5 years...when he was pitching for the padres. that's right: pitching in (i believe) the most-pitcher friendly park in the league, adam eaton was a nominally league average pitcher. in fact, in his best of six seasons in san diego, he posted an ERA+ of 103.
i just don't get how simon or waters or bass or penn don't exhibit a greater potential for success. this is a very low bar, here, but really.
i know i'm treading no new ground here w/ this post, but hendrickson and eaton are sending me around the bend. i haven't been this frustrated since the front office spent its offseason kitty on conine and millar!
serenity now. serenity now.
