Looks like Oriole fans won't be able to greet Arod on opening day. According to his brother, he's going under the scapel and rehab should take about 10 weeks.

The way I figure it, that's mid-May, although I tend to doubt that his brother has a medical degree. I know we aren't supposed to take joy in a player getting injured, but I'm not exactly going to shed tears over this either.

He’s one of the few guys with genuine “leadership” qualities and I’d love to see his reaction to one of Mora’s pouty-faced F-ups in the field.

My brother the doctor...

According to Ca$hman the surgery involved would indeed take 4 months to recovery from, so as of now they’re going with rehab & hoping that gets him through the season.
