I read the article looking for Simon (shockingly, an Oriole was not named in an ESPN article). Instead, I find Darnell McDonald. Wow. Congrats, Darnell. Enjoy your time with Ramon Hernandez, Jerry Hairston, and Arthur Rhodes (What!? That guy is still alive!?)

I love me some Arthur Rhodes
He’s now the only non-Jamie Moyer-player from the 1993 Orioles still active. I’m also pretty sure he’s the only active player who played home games at Memorial Stadium (he was a rookie in 1991, believe it or not).

There were two guys who brought what they had every game. Loved watching those two.
And we can thank McLemore for Adam Jones’ new-found patience at the plate, too.
