Bergesen Leaves on A Highnote
Brad Bergesen made his major league debut last night against the Chicago White Sox after waiting nearly two hours for the rain to stop in Baltimore.
Bergesen isn’t a guy who will throw the heat by you, he won’t impress you with his fast ball. But he will locate some nasty pitches and keep a pace faster than most major league pitchers today.

I’ve long ago admitted that I root for laundry, and short of someone just being a complete a** or criminal, I’ll root for anyone who plays on my teams, but Bergesen seemed like a nice dude, and it was easy to be happy for him after the interviews with him (and with his dad during the game).
I wonder if I can bill Jeff Lurie and Peter Angelos for the years of therapy their teams are going to put me through.
