Camden Chat in Baltimore Sun

Camden Chat was mentioned in the Baltimore Sun today. God damn SBnation must be making a lot of money off this blog.

Here is the link (click here)

If SC actually owned this blog, he could of made roughly $135,000 from it. Is that just crazy or what. Who would of thunked so much money would be in this stuff.

Also, my O's blog, BirdsWatcher.com was mentioned in that article, thank you, thank you very much. haha

Believe me, it’s not worth 135,000 real dollars. OR IS IT? I don’t know. But those traffic ranking things are weird. I’m happy to be among the sites listed in them, but I don’t take much from it. I certainly take no money from it.

Here's the list that was referenced (but not cited) in the Sun article

100 Most Valuable Sports Blogs

Based on he comments, the list appears to be, uh, incomplete. And that’s putting it nicely. Also, a quick check of www.dnscoop.com shows Camden Chat to be worth the paltry sum of $71K – but does that have to do with the annual cycle of the baseball season? Will Camden Chat’s value rise as the season goes along? I have no idea how the site works.

But just to put that number into perspective: Orioles Hangout is worth $22K. Yikes.

And we'll be all like...

Where the hell were you 5 years ago????

"Any guitar solos you hear on the record where it sounds like one note, sounds like Meg White playing guitar -- that's me. Any real guitar solo where a guitar comes in and you go, 'F--k, that sounds awesome!' -- that's not me." - Josh Freese
