Ooo! Oooo! oooo!
I know! I know!

Matt Wieters took batting practice this morning. There were no survivors.

Yeah, it's almost cool to be No. 1, ain't it? But you know what's genuinely surprising on this list? 4th BEST is...
Correct, that total *ssh*le Stinkburner. And listen to these gems:
“The St*inbr*nn*rs run a billion-dollar organization that treasures professionalism…”
Whaaa…? Sure, fire a manager 5 times, humiliate HoF players, get yourself kicked out of baseball, embarrass the game with your nutbar politics— it’s just professional through and through! Did you think Billy Martin was kidding when he observed that St*inbr*nn*r “should have gone to jail”?
“You may not like them, but admit it — you’re envious.”
Are you out of you freakin’ mind?!? OK, quick show of hands, please: How many people envy greed, egomania, illegal campaign contributions, collusion and a near-total contempt for those wiser and more experienced employees who respect the game? No, put your hand down, Mr. Trump. Really, is there any fan base anywhere north of Tijuana that envies the Yerkee ownership?

He has won more titles than anyone else on that list
I do find comical the stark contract between how the Ravens are run, Bisciotti being the fifth best owner according to SI, and the way in which the O’s operate.
My best game plan is to sit on the bench and call out specific instructions like 'C'mon Boog,' 'Get ahold of one, Frank,' or 'Let's go, Brooks.' -Earl Weaver

George was butt crazy and kind of a dick (until his final years when he was just an old man) but shit, at least he won and put his money back into the team and did things for the fans and all that. But Hank and Hal among the best? Mother F’er please. All Hank has done is make an ass of himself.

I have to call shenanigans here...
I am by no means a fan of Peter Angelos….but he’s worse than Jeffrey Loria or David Glass? No way.
Angelos has done a lot of bad in the past, hiring some really damn incompetent management…but he’s improved himself in my eyes a ton in the past few years.

By doing what?
I’m serious. Until this proves to make a winning team… you know what I mean? David Glass has done the same thing by finally hiring a competent front office man and they’re making strides, but until it ACTUALLY pays off…
However, let’s be honest with this article: It’s lazy. Have a good team? You’re a good owner! Have a bad team? You stink!

Oh, I'd still have Angelos in the bottom five
But I agree with Chanumas. Considering that Angelos has always at least spent money, and is making strides to rebuild at LONG LAST, I don’t see how he’s worse than Jeffrey Loria, who fucked over the Expos and is actively working to tear down his current team at every turn. As far as Lerner goes, he’s only been in charge for two or three years, but the fact of the matter is that the Gnats are a cold laughingstock and couldn’t fill their brand new stadium from day one.
