Luke Scott rounds the bases after his 1st inning home run in Delmarva. He added a well-hit single into CF and a walk in 3 plate appearances before being lifted for a pinch runner. He will DH in Tuesday's game. Photo courtesy of duck, who's at the game.

A little bit of rain.....
and it’s really weird considering Friday’s crowd was 6,000+ and Saturday’s crowd was 8,400+ and Sunday was 2,200+. There were MAYBE 400 people tonight, and that’s a generous estimate. The announced crowd will be larger due to season tickets, but you can tell, it was friends and family tonight. And that was with $5 tickets with a free hot dog and drink.
Luke was great, by the way, signed for everyone who came to the home dugout just before the game (and I do mean JUST before the game) and was great with all the LL kids who were on the field for the starting lineups.

Maybe everyone had holiday plans
I know if I had the chance to see Luke in a minor league setting I’d be there. One of my favorite baseball memories as a kid was seeing Chris Hoiles at a rehab start in Hagerstown. He tossed me a ball that I still have.

You've been to Salisbury
You know how apathetic this town can be. Friday and Saturday were Reading Incentive Nights, meaning lots of free tickets. But still, it’s LUUUUUUUUKE!

Luke is great :)
back a few weeks ago got a ball signed by him/he tossed another coming off the field between innings (game vs the rays that pie ended with the sliding catch)
