Gettin the band back together...
Much like the O's seem to be a gathering point for Cubbies flotsam, the Marlins seem to have a thing for our pitcher flameouts. Not merely content w/ Hayden Penn (he of the 6.97 ERA and 2.08 WHIP), apparently, the Marlins are also taking a look at Danny Cabs (h/t MLBTR: http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2009/05/marlins-interested-in-daniel-cabrera.html).
As a certain someone once said...

Do we get the Marlins in Interleague this year?
Because if so, I’d love to see Hayden Penn and Daniel Cabrera coming out of their bullpen.

If they're interested
I think Rocky Coppinger isn’t doing anything these days.

Good grief
If he signs a minor league contract, I could go see him pitch again.
Rather, I’ll have to watch the probable starters to know what games to avoid.

whoever winds up in the minors
NOLA Zephyrs are the Marlins AAA team now. I go a couple times a year, just to go to a professional baseball game.

Good Grief amen....
How many good players could we have gotten for these 2 pitchers ‘back in the day’? Wasnt Hayden Penn supposed to be some savior and Cabrera the next Randy Jonhson? Both are losers, i wish them the best, but, thank god they are gone from the Orioles. I kind of look at that era and cringe, hopefully we have turned the corner and actually have some arms that can actually get people out!!!
