The Orioles have decided to place reliever Dennis Sarfate on the 15-day disabled list and recall Bob McCrory from Triple-A Norfolk.

Sarfate left Friday night's game with numbness in his right middle finger. The Orioles are classifying his injury as a "circulatory condition."

McCrory posted a 2.25 ERA and had three saves at Norfolk. He went two innings in his last appearance on Friday, allowing one run and one hit, and striking out one batter.

McCrory made eight appearances with the Orioles last season in two separate stints, posting a 15.63 ERA in 6 1/3 innings. He didn't give up a run in five games, but allowed 11 earned in three others.
