Wow, that’s poor. We have 10 guys with 10 or more Ks, including Berge. Our two walks leaders, added together, have 24 BB.

BTW I don’t think he’s a bum, I just don’t think he’s a baseball player. He’s a big, big guy that can throw hard and we tried to turn him into a pitcher. He’s got even less business with a bat in his hands, unless you’re looking for a very imposing bodyguard.

yeah...

no intent to be un-pc or impugn the guy’s character. heck, i believe he’s trying to be a good pitcher, but i just don’t think he can make it happen, is all.

A Nats blogger writes during ST with great hopefulness about how miracle worker pitching coach Randy St Claire is going to harness all that DCAB potential. Not a bad article, with pictures and quotations from Claire himself. (The author attended ST)
