Parking around Camden Yards
This Wednesday I will be down in Baltimore to spend the day in the city, inner harbor, and attend the Os/Mets game.
We plan on arriving around 11am/Noon and would like to park our car near the ballpark and then headto inner harbor for lunch.
I am asking some good advice/suggestions on where I should...and can park my car ALL DAY/NIGHT until the end of the baseball game for a reasonable price/distance from the park.
Please help with any insight/advice you, as locals, may have for us. Your help would be greatly appreciated!
If you have an exact/specific street we should park or maybe even the address of a reasonable parking lot, pleasepass that along so we can plug it right into our GPS to head straight there upon arrival into the city.
Thank you so much!
GO Os!!!!!

Orioles parking is the best value
$10, and they put you as close as possible in general. There’s Lot A, which I have never got into, but B and C always have open spots. Just make a turn onto Lee St, and the Oriole man directing traffic will let you know where to go.
I don’t know how early the lots open before the game though. I know the STADIUM for season ticket holders opens at 5, so parking has to open at least before then.
If you’re trying to find parking before the lots are open, just find one of the parking garages. Baltimore has plenty near the stadium, all with similar prices, and there is a P for park on road signs.

I thought you did.
I wonder if I can bill Jeff Lurie and Peter Angelos for the years of therapy their teams are going to put me through.
Not really.
You kind of do if it’s a prime game or sell out. Lot A is a definitite no-no for non-permits. But if lot B and C are practically empty, they let people park there for $10. If not, lot D. If not, they usually go to general parking. No matter what, they’re gonna give you parking for $10, reletively near the stadium,.
Two times this year the guy doing traffic has directed me to a permit-only lot, practically right next to the warehouse, and they didn’t make me pay.

thank you for that info. we will be there early, to spend the entire day. do you know the rates and hours for those parking garages? can cars stay there all day…even until the end of the Os night games? if you have any more info or a website, please let me know.
again…thank you very much!
Park at the Holiday Inn
It’s right near the park, and park all day and night for $14
Hey Smails, you scratched my anchor!
ok i spoke to someone…the holiday inn offers parking…$5 for the first hour and $2 each additional hour. thanks for lending me that insight. if anyone else knows about the parking garages in the city, please let me know, but this looks to be a good option. thanks!
which holiday inn is that?
me and the boys are going down soon for a similar day/night trip. Gotta see the aquarium ya know:) $14 for day is very reasonable.
Wieters is HERE and The Phils are in First, doesn't get much better:)
Lombard and Eutaw
395 turns into MLK, Right on Pratt, left on Eutaw, 1 block to the garage.
It’s behind the Holiday Inn – look for the orange PARK HERE sign on the front of the garage as soon as cross Lombard

Depending on where you are coming
I always park outside of the city and catch the light rail. However you want to park downtown I would suggest a parking garage near the stadium. The O’s parking lots will not open until later in the afternoon. Go online and check out the Inner Harbor tourist page and check out the location’s and cost of parking. Have Fun!

I use 1 in particular all the time
I forget the exact address, but when you come into the city (i’m guessing you’ll be coming off exit 53) you’ll see Camden on your left and Conway will lead you to the harbor. Take that all the way down and make a right (pass the lot on conway as it costs more). That right will take you onto Light street. Take the next right (I believe it’s Lee, but don’t remember for sure) and there will be a parking lot on your left AND your right. Either one of these is good and I believe they cost about $17 to park all day. Its 1 block from the harbor and maybe a 5 minute walk to the yard, and they are enclosed garages.

Parking garages
At Howard and Pratt is the office building I call the stair step building. You can’t miss it if you come in from the south. If you go north on Howard, stair step building is on your right, and right beyond it is a parking garage. I’ve seen “event parking” as much as $25 but if you get there early enough you will probably get a lower price than that.
Never tried to park here during the day, not sure how much office traffic it gets. As far as parking garages though, that’s about as close to OPACY as you can get.

there’s a garage there on S. Eutaw that’s just a couple of blocks from the Stadium. It’s just north of W. Lombard street on S. Eutaw. Can be pricey – on Matt Wieters Day, it was $20 to park. But really, really convenient and easy to get to. I’m not used to streets with lines on them, let alone city driving, and I’ve found it twice this season.

I found that garage last year
Used it once.
In Baltimore, you just find places to park, and know what is your unreasonable price.

Excellent parking garage
I don’t know if it’ll work for parking all day on a weekday, but just for good general information for future people looking for parking:
Parking garage at Pratt and Penn. It’s excellent. $7 to park, a close walk to the game, and after the game you can easily access MLK and thus avoid all stadium traffic.

I know since school is out
You can park in the Digital Harbor HS lot for free. Not many people know that. We generally park there when we stay over night in Federal Hill area. Its a pretty long walk to Camden tho. Maybe 15-20 minutes? The Harbor is right there (obviously).
That's a nice tip
for a cheap ass local like me. Thanks.
