Orioles unveil 2110 Eutaw Street ticket offer for upcoming games this season

BALTIMORE -- Oriole Park at Camden Yards is located at 333 West Camden Street, but this summer Orioles fans will have the option to reside at 2110 Eutaw Street by taking advantage of a new ticket offer. The Orioles have combined the uniform numbers of two of their best young outfielders, Nick Markakis and Adam Jones, to re-identify an area of the Eutaw Street bleachers and give fans the opportunity to take part in a unique promotion.

For a number of pre-selected games, beginning with the game on Sunday, July 12, vs. Toronto, fans can purchase a Eutaw Street bleacher seat and a limited edition "I Live at 2110 Eutaw Street" t-shirt for only $21. In addition, Markakis and Jones will toss baseballs into the stands throughout the game, and for every home run hit by Markakis or Jones in that day's game, one lucky fan in the section will receive a bat autographed by the player who hit the homer.

Tickets for the July 12, 2110 Eutaw Street promotion are on sale beginning today and are available while supplies last at www.orioles.com or by calling 1-888-848-BIRD. Future dates for the promotion will be announced at a later time.

It seems like they are being a lot more creative with promotions this year

Is that a sign of an organization that is improving in every single area, including marketing?

Or is this just desparation because of the terrible attendance?

I think a little bit of both

They realize they need to do something to get people out to the park, but I don’t know if in years past it would have resulted in such stuff. It helps to have marketable players for once.

You're telling me that 2925 Eutaw Street wouldn't have been a hit?

Chris Singleton and Jay Gibbons…two awful tastes that taste worse together! Every time they go 0-for-4, you get a handwritten note of apology!

The creativity seemed to start last year

Nah, I loved the "Drop and Drive, Adam..."

“Drop and Drive” commercials from 2 years ago. too.

This is awesome

It definitely seems to me that they are figuring out that the fans are important and worth going the extra mile for. Just alot of cool stuff coming out of the warehouse lately (I still think the O’s Magic video is one of the greatest promotions EVER)

its sad

Yea this promotion is great, however, when we have to come up with crazy gimmicks that should be here in frederick, you know we are getting a little desperate. Buy this and you can throw a Pie at Pie…actually right now id rather pie Wieters.

Its fucking sweet!!!

Yeah its a bit gimmicky, but I swear this team keeps winning me over bit by bit. I really wish I had a job that could let me go to or just be able to listen to more Oriole games (I start work at two in the morning so…yeah I only get to read the recaps and I do appreciate them!). Between putting Baltimore back on the jerseys (and I love the shoulder patches), rebuilding the farm system using a system that makes sense, and having a GM that seems to actively care what fans think…I am turning into a tool of a homer again. Granted tomorrow is a day off for me so I have been drinking a bit this very early morning (how sad is that I have to get up up 6 hours early to drink at a bar) but man I am really liking this misfit team. If Andy’s biggest bust is Pie…Jesus that is such a change from the norm…

Even drunk like I am, I realize that this team has glaring issues…the base running, lack of starting pitching (although all the young kids are seem to me to be stellar for this inexperience), questionable bullpen…my God this is a fun team to watch on the Tivo. Sorry about the drunken rambling. Its just…this team is just…I haven’t been this into the O’s in a long time. I would like to live through a second O’s World Series. Even in my current state, I know it ain’t happening soon but this is seriously my favorite lineup in at least 15 years. We got the most exciting outfield (jesus that took three tries to spell outfield right) in baseball. Wieters, even with his “struggles” (how many rookies would love his numbers for their first year, honestly?) is the reason, at least in my drunken view, why our young pitchers are doing so well..

I’m done boring you cats. Sorry about the ramblings from a drunk old dude. All the cats that run this site, ya’ll do a top notch job. If you read to this point…sorry but if you ain’t burning time in some fucking office job…you should be better occupied. GO O’S!!!!

They do seem to be a little more fan friendly

However I wish they had used Adam Jones bobblehead day on a night when the opposition would guarantee about 12K fans (Mariners on a Tues night). That would have given them possibly a 30K crowd on a Tuesday. The Mets would guarantee a crowd of 25K regardless of the bobbleheads. I guess management wanted to ensure NY Mets fans would get a Bobblehead.

Not complaining to much. I like the new tone overall and it can only get better next season.
