Nice
takes the sting out of Arrieta getting knocked around.

Brian was overpowering
This guy may be the best of the young arms. Not only was he overpowering but he spotted his fastball and used his change and curve keep the Phillies off balance. They had no chance because Tanaka followed Matuz and he mixed up his change and fast ball and had them off balanced. I tell you what. Baltimore is going to love these two guys on the staff in a couple of years. I just hope McPhail does not trade any of them at this point. My wish list for staters are Tillman, Arietta, Matuz, Bergensen, and Patton. Hernandez and Berkins in long relief, Tanaka and Johnson and finally Sherrill and Ray closing it out. There will be injures and trades but that is what I am seeing in two years or less.
Brandon Snyder, 1B. Remember that name.

Then in a few years,
just when the league thinks the O’s have topped off, we show ’em Britton, Hobgood, and anyone else who has developed nicely! It will be important not to settle for what we have now and to continue the wave long after the Big 3 have arrived.
