Ponson tests positive for banned substance, tries to be less fat
HA! HA HA! I found this amusing. Apparently he tested positive during the WBC for Phentermine, which is a drug used to treat obesity. HA!

Ugh
It’s nice to see that this idiot learned nothing from Steve Bechler’s death, which was linked to a similar substance. What an ass.

I thought of Bechler too
and for a moment I thought it’d be in bad taste to laugh at this and poke fun at it, but then I realized Sid getting busted for weight loss pills in the steroid era is hilarious. I hope everyone gets that I mean no disrespect to Bechler’s memory.

Yeah, it didn't read that way
I was able to separate your contempt for Sidney from the tragic circumstances of Bechler, anyway.

Actually
Phentermine is an FDA approved drug that is prescribed a lot for weight loss. It doesn’t really have a comparison to ephedra and obviously I don’t know anything about how Sid was using it, but when it was prescribed to someone in my family she was seeing the doctor every two weeks to ensure safety and proper use.
He’s a dumb ass for not realizing it was a banned substance, for sure, but I don’t think it’s comparable to Steve Bechler.
