I love how many times Andy defers to Joe Jordan. Hopefully after the draft Joe will have time for an interview.

Joe's the man

Joe Jordan really deserves a ton of credit. As much or more than McPhail. I think the real turn around in the farm system has more to do with finally having some solid drafts than Andy’s trades.

The Bedard deal has obviously worked out well and added a lot of talent. If Andy hadn’t held out we may not have gotten all the talent that we did; but that also could have backfired for us if Bavasi didn’t budge and the deal dried up.
