Adam Jones has started a Facebook page and is running a promotion through this month where he'll hand over four tickets to an Orioles' game each week that normally are allotted to him. Just to go www.facebook.com/AdamJones, look for the post about the tickets and write a comment on why you should receive them. You can take a break from punching in Jones' name on your All-Star ballot.

my favorite is...

My name is Bob and I like the Orioles…

How could he be doing his job when he didn't throw me out of the game after the things I called him?

Meet Jones on Wednesday

At the Wendy’s on West Nursery Rd in Lithicum. From noon to 1.

I don’t even know what to get autographed. My 2008 Jones jersey, the scorecard in which he hit a home run after practically begging to be let play after a hammy. Or maybe just a ball.

I don't really want to get anything autographed

I would just like to chat with him. Any topic suggestions?

Does this include road tickets?

I plan to going at to go to at least two, maybe three and possibly all four of the games in Anaheim

He didn't specify

But I’d assume home only.

NICE! Just became a fan.

I don’t know what I should right as to why I think I should win the tickets. I am trying to think of something ridiculous to say that will get noticed. Like “I’d have your babies if you gave me the tickets” or something.

It's like

I keep asking myself “How much fucking cooler can Adam Jones get” and the answer is always “Just watch.”

ha ha no problem

I’ll actually be in the Garden State that weekend so even if I had the best reason ever it wouldn’t matter. If you don’t win the tickets I hope the guy who says he wants to have a baconator with Adam Jones does because anyone who brings up baconators is pretty awesome.

If Adam Jones stopped here to say hi I might actually die.

My BFF lives in Jersey

And her birthday is that weekend. She lives in Dumont now, but spent her whole life before this past year in Emerson. I go to NJ a lot, actually. Well, maybe not a lot, but compared to most people in Maryland. She went to William Paterson also (I was just looking at your Facebook page)!

I think she graduated in 2004

Because she moved to Virginia in summer 2004. So I guess when I said her whole life in Emerson that was a lie, it slipped my mind that she moved south for awhile. Anyway, her major was history/education. She’s a teacher now. She only went there for her last two years, though. Her first two years she went to school in Baltimore, which is when I met her.

I went the stat geek route

Told him that his line in the four games I’ve attended this year is .412, 1 3B, 1 HR, 6 RBI, and that he’d probably hit 4 HR on Sat. if I’m there.

If I go to the game, you’ll turn your swag on:

I go to the game,
You turn your swag on,
Take a look at the scoreboard see who’s up,
Yeeaaa—It’s Mr. Jonesy, oh.

I go to the game,
You get your bat on,
Take a look at the scorecard see what’s up,
Yeeaaa—10’s speed is money, oh.

Can’t turn your bat off
Takin’ pitchers hats off, yea, yea,
You put your team on, this is your theme song, yea, yea,
I’m sitting box seats while you stomp ATL,
Haters sittin’ nosebleed when you show up in STL, yea

I go to the game,
You turn your swag on,
Take a look at the screen and see who’s up,
Yeeaaa—It’s Mr. Jonesy, oh

At the All-Star game,
You’ll turn your swag on,
Take a look at Seattle, say Whats up?
Yea, that trade was funny, oh
