Halfway point MBP Poll, Wildcard

PrintTime to vote for a Wild Card MBP... based on whatever the hell you like. Included are all players currently on the roster except for those who already have a spot in the MBP Tourney or who are already battling for a spot in the MBP Tourney (Jones, Markakis, Zaun, Bergie) and anyone who has earned at least 1 MBP award already whether or not they're still with the team, and Amber Theoharis... Because she's Amber. The number in parenthises is the number of MBP's that they have earned.

wild card is based on whatever you like
but reemmber, that doesnt just mean stats. I considered Wiggs simply because he looks like ms piggy and is hilarious to watch play SS. I considered Wieters because he is a golden God. I considered Shutdown Sherrill because we arent giving him enough love for the season he is having. I considered Koji for being the last remaining buddy cop. I did NOT consider Amber or DD Trembley because it’d be odd to have the most birdland player not be a player. I ended up voting for LUUUUKE for his unexpected awesome play and his expected awesome self, including his early season mullet and the fact that he still giggles like a school girl and blushes when we scream LUUUUUKE in LF and still to this day acknowleges the fans out there. He’s sheer awesome.

This is the first time in my life
That I dont know who my favorite player is. It kind of makes me feel wierd, but it is so awesome at the same time. This week its LUUUUUKE, as I spent the first 6 innings of our 12 inning afair against Toronto next to the foul pole and lost my voice praising him, and he acknowleged it every time. Then he hit a HR. You know, after he took one out of the stands. Of course there’s AJ, Wieters, Nicky, and B-Rob (who I now love extra hard because everyone thought it was cool to trash on him). But yea, LUUUUKE def. endeared himself to me. I will be a fan of his wherever he goes, no matter what team it is.

I think we might have to hold a 1 game playoff between the loser of the #1 seed game and the winner of this. Its only fair. Nick/AJ shouldnt be precluded from the wild card just because they tied for 1st in the daily poll.

I thought about adding EVERYONE from the roster
But then there was the chance we’d get a Nick vs Nick or an Adam vs Adam and I didn’t think was very tourney like. I could have waited until the end of this poll to add the loser of the #1 poll to this but I decided not to… Because I could. Besides this still gives everyone a chance to be Birdland.
