Orioles (41-50) @ Yankees (54-37), 7:05 P.M.

Baltimore Orioles at New York Yankees, Jul 20, 2009 7:05 PM EDT

The Orioles are 1-11 on the road against the AL East this season, with that one win coming in Tampa Bay. Tonight is their best chance to win against the Yankees in this series as David Hernandez faces off against Andy Pettitte. Pettitte has a history of killing the Orioles but is having a subpar year. Hernandez has been the second best starter in the O's current rotation. He hasn't started in the majors since July 8th but has been keeping the rust off down in the minors.

W-L ERA WHIP K BB
2009 - David Hernandez 2-2 3.94 1.56 17 12

W-L ERA WHIP K BB
2009 - Andy Pettitte 8-5 4.85 1.53 70 44

Fun Fact! The Orioles road record is 15-29 and the Yankees home record is almost the opposite at 29-16.

I take the first 2, if not 3 pitches from Hill in every AB (sort of a joke, but maybe not), because Hill’s control is awful, and he has no chance of throwing 3 straight strikes in a row.

Coached wrestling for 11 years

A 215-lber is 35% greater body weight than a 165 lber. I don’t care what direction the 215 lb guy looking, the 165 lber is gonna feel it hard when he hits the 215 lb guy.

And last time I checked, shortstops aren’t wearing pads when running into said 215 lber.
