Nolan Reimold was named the American League's Rookie of the Month for June on Friday in recognition for his stellar play. Reimold, Baltimore's left fielder, batted .320 in 26 games during June and led all AL rookies with four home runs. He also drove in nine runs and scored 13 during the month. Other rookies that received consideration for the Rookie of the Month Award were Baltimore right-hander Brad Bergesen and left-handed pitcher Ricky Romero of the Toronto Blue Jays.
