Other rookies that received consideration for the Rookie of the Month Award were Baltimore right-hander Brad Bergesen and left-handed pitcher Ricky Romero of the Toronto Blue Jays.

News to me
I only find out, usually from the radio, which player gets the shirt about a week beforehand.
3 weeks guys. That is always enough for request-off.

Yeah I don't know why they wait so long
I usually check the promotions page every now and then to see if they have announced it yet.

I personally think it should've gone to Bergesen.
But they are both fantastic and I’m psyched for Reimold. Young players are so exciting.
I didn't know they had that award each month
Good for Reimold. He is a special player. Our outfield is set for the next 3 or 4 years at least. We need to get Jones under a huge contract now for the next 6 or more years.
