I was there that night
And when he left, my dad shook his hand in the lower concourse. I remembered that night when i heard the news last night.
For McNair’s time in Baltimore, I’ll remember him more in that uniform than in the Ravens’. It was when I was beginning to like baseball more than football. Still, I admired McNair’s career and was happy to have him.
