At least Melvin is now so fucking terrible at all aspects of the game

I was debating this as well.
His 3 for 4 night deserves a mention, but the brain fart was about as un-Birdland as it gets. I’d probably vote for Hernandez either way, though, assuming he is on the ballot.

He wasnt caught going 3rd to home
He was caught leaving 2nd on contact on a pop fly to the catcher because he forgot there was only one out.
He was also caught going 3rd to home
but that wasn’t his fault – he was going on contact and AJ sucked it up
Wrong inning
In the third he was thrown out on a fielder’s choice going 3rd to home, after having doubled and stolen 3rd.

Hernandez has given us a chance to win and he is my choice at this point. Still a long way to go though

Why is he out there but to HELP the base runners. Yes or No? He could have screamed for B-Rob to go back to second base as before he reached 3rd base.
