Roberts is a doubling machine

I just love Brian Roberts and his speed . Every year 40 + doubles and double digit steals . I swear all they need is more pitching minus Mora and Huff . Young arms and talent at the corners and we are there folks ! Baltimore's trades haven't been all that bad so far . I'm mixed on on their manager . Any replies on how this would work out ? Is 2011 the year we finally finish above .500% ???

Overall, think about what you want to say. Think about whether what you’re writing is really a contribution that will engender a discussion, or if you’re just posting for the sake of posting or because you’re bored, or whatever. If you’ve got a bee in your bonnet and you want to write about it, take the time to compose your FanPost, edit it, and preview it, so that it will be interesting to the other members of the community.

+1

Posts like these are why i find myself actively engaged at this site less and less.

I say this in the nicest way possible

But if you engaged in this site a little bit more there would be more good content and less reason not to come here. We’re doing what we can to keep the site as relevant as we can but we can’t do it if everyone just up and leaves.

Thats sort of the challenge isnt it?

A few times I’ve tried to sit down and write a really strong fanpost, and either due to a lack of time or inspiration have never posted any of them because I felt like they weren’t strong enough for the site. Do I post in order to generate some discussion even if its not as well constructed as I’d like, or do I not post in order to avoid cluttering the site? It becomes a question of what serves this community best, and theres always going to be a tension between quality and quantity.

As long as it's well thought out

and well written, then go for it. When we came up with the guidelines it wasn’t with the intention of scaring people off from writing. You’ve written enough on here for me to know that you’re capable of writing coherently and with a point, and that’s really all we ask :)
