CC Sanctioned Fantasy League Football

So, I put out some feelers last week (I think?) and some folks seemed interested in doing a little fantasy league football. I've set up something up on Yahoo and tentatively have a draft set up for next Tuesday, but am open to changing the venue (i.e. CBS, ESPN, etc.) if anyone has a major beef w/ Yahoo and draft day w/ in reason (there probably won't be one day that works for everybody interested, but we'll go w/ what works for the majority).

Anyhow, league is creatively called CC Football 2009, p/w is ironman.

Who's w/ me?

i don't like the fact

there’s no bench, i don’t want to have let go of my star players simply because they have a bye week, you put them on the bench and start your back up player(s).
so please add some bench slots

changing stuff is no prob...

but i’m going to wait on changing a draft date until we hit 10 teams. that’s our present cap, but, frankly i’d like to have 12 and split things into two divs.

if/when we move the draft, my inclination is to push it further out. maybe thursday night. wednesdays are no good for me.

please kick around more ideas in this thread. can’t guarantee i’ll act on all of them, but it’s better to have the discussion now as opposed to a couple games in. i’m actually curious if anyone has any bones to pick w/ the scoring.

i think two more teams would be super, but am not going to expand things for odd numbers. we could add as many as four more, but that’s going to make for some slim pickins.

I mean, I think the QB stats are fine, but I would definitely prefer point per 10 yards for RBs and WRs.

Having a RBs production count for the same as a QB definitely seems strange to me. It means that a QB will be more than twice as productive as a RB pointwise.
