well..

french guy playing a scot. must be terribly confusing. my gf pointed out to me, though, that it’s funny that the only scottish actor in the movie is playing spaniard!

His face ruined it for me

Lambert has a quintessential French face, and that threw everything off in my book as my mother is Scottish and I can distinguish the look.

I just rewatched it last week… not as epic as when I used to watch it in college. I’d seen it so many times I could predict the scenes and knew most of the dialogue…
