A Very Ignorant, Easy-To-Answer Question

I probably could have looked this up on the internet but I'm too lazy. I'm supposed to know something about baseball, and I'm surprised I don't know the answer to this already buuut...

When the bases are loaded, and you draw a walk and it scores a runner, is it an RBI? Because technically you didn't hit anything. And does that factor into your batting average?

Stupid question, I know.

FanPosts are user-created content and do not necessarily reflect the views of the editors of Camden Chat or SB Nation. They might, though.

It does count as an RBI

as far as batting average, it doesn’t affect it because it’s a walk.

but it does, of course, factor into your On Base Percentage

What, I gotta be a one-man SubCommittee here?

BAN HIM!

"Well, I believe in the soul, the cock, the pussy, the small of a woman's back, the hanging curve ball, high fiber, good scotch, that the novels of Susan Sontag are self-indulgent, overrated crap. I believe Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone. I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing Astroturf and the designated hitter. what does that mean?

i am confused. what do you want to do to J-Lo? solve the elusive mysteries of life for her in a straightforward manner as if you were google?

oh wait. i guess i'll take a stab...

so you are saying that if you lowered your standards you would get with J-Lo? still very confusing. I thought you were straight. and shit, you have pretty high standards.

Julian Tavarez on why he signed with the Nationals:

“When you go to a club until 4 a.m., a 600-pounder looks like J-Lo. And to me this is Jennifer Lopez right here. Its 4 in the morning. Too much to drink. All the girls look hot. So, the Nationals are Jennifer Lopez to me.”

This quote NEVER gets old.

It can be without proper notice

I’m still not sure enough attention is drawn to the rules on the front page, unless their displayed before you register.

No troubles

Another good place to post a question like that would be in our open threads that post every day (“Bird Droppings”).
