The Carroll county link is a great example

Of why newspapers and small time journalists are quickly becoming obsolete. Hometown newspapers are supposed to cater to their public not try and piss it off—- let alone angering the deity by not even mentioning he will be there… And how about the oriole greats that will be there as well.

The reason these people can’t keep jobs anymore has nothing to do with blogs/ access to content… They simply put too much of this sort of crap out there on a daily basis to ever be considered a viable source.

Sickels dropped Britton from a B+ to a B

As I work on the 50/50 list, a few grades sometimes change as I can slot elite players from different organizations more directly in comparison to one another. This is why I emphasize that all the grades on the Top 20 lists are PRELIMINARY. I will go back and change rankings on the Top 20s as needed.

Zach Britton, LHP, Orioles, old grade B+, new GRADE B. He just fits better with the guys I have as strong Bs.

… I feel bad for Orioles fans because growing up they were always a competitive team and really had an identity with their excellent pitching and solid lineups. If I were a Baltimore fan I would not support that team financially until they put a better product on the field.
