The Orioles today announced that they have agreed to terms with outfielder Luke Scott on a one-year contract, thus avoiding arbitration. Scott, 31, played in 128 games for the Orioles in 2009, batting .258 while setting career-highs with 25 home runs and 77 runs batted in.
