PrintHere we go. There are between four and seven baseball games left until we can fire up the hot stove and hopefully have an exciting off-season full of trades and Cliff Lee.
Speaking of the future Oriole, he's starting tonight's game for the Texas Rangers against Tim Lincecum. About Lincecum, Lee said, "The way he does it, no one else does it that way. I like that." You know who else said that? I think you do.
Let's go Rangers and/or Giants! Antlers! Beard fearing! Et cetera!

who do you have to play with? the online community sucks for PS3, there’s no one there worth playing with and it lags like crazy. I think I know about 8 people who have a PS3. they’ll defend it til they die, but when it all comes down to it, I’d rather play with friends than people I’m going to end up hating.
blu ray? really? you care that much about blu ray? my tv came with a blu ray player for free, my computer came with a blu-ray player for free. it’s really not a huge deal…

It's really similar controls when you look at the it
diamond shaped button layout, triggers and bumpers in the same spot, sticks in the same spot, D-pad in the same spot. virtually the same thing.

I was a PS2 guy, then I went to the 360 and loved it.
I bought a PS3 specifically for The Show. It’s that much better than the 2k series (I also didn’t have a blu ray player). I now use the PS3 way more than the 360.

to shell out 600$ for one 60$ game? good god man, I get it, the 2k series has issues but it’s hardly worth 600$ of bussing tables.
here’s the thing with PS3. no online community, no Halo, laggy connections, expensive as hell (up until recently). the 360 has worked out all of its bugs that it had when it released about 7 years ago and is now about 100$ if you know where to look. it’s well worth paying 60$ for a year of live play IMO as long as I can play with people who I want to play with (i.e. classmates, friends, family etc.) as opposed to playing for free with people I have a small desire to game with.

the launch price was 600, paying for live basically ended up paying you back for about 3 years if you went with a 360, still saves you a ton of money.

$600? lol no.
I paid $300 for a 160 gb system with the first Uncharted game included (about 15 months ago). No one has paid $600 for a PS3 since about 3 months after they came out. The Show was the game that lead me to get one, but there were still plenty of PS3 exclusive games that I wanted to play and made the decision easier. Plus like I said I didn’t have a blue ray player. Also I was still in the Marines then and I only had wireless access so if you subtract the $100 that I didn’t have to spend on a wireless attachment for my 360 and then the money really isn’t that bad. I have both systems still and I enjoy them both. I play all of my sports games on PS3 because I find it easier to get to all of the buttons on the controller. Other types of games I will base my decision on whether or not the game was made with one system in mind (i.e. I just got Fallout: New Vegas for 360 because the game was designed around the 360).

Not too mention
I don’t see much difference between the two online communities. While 360 surely does have a larger community, I have never had a problem playing online with my PS3. One big difference is that 75% of the kids that do nothing but shout racial slurs the whole time are on xbox.
