Why Pettitte covers his mouth
Any one else ever wonder why Andy Pettitte covers his mouth when he's in the stretch? I think it's because he's trying to keep birds from nesting in his chin. Or is that thing really a black hole that will suck his catcher into if he doesn't cover it? Or maybe he's tonguing the leather of his glove and if so, the ball should be checked for saliva. Any thoughts?

I try my hardest not to think about Andy Pettitte...
it helps with my addiction to rageahol.

to get a lick at that steroid juice embedded in the leather
Petitte and Clemens were longtime steroid buddies. Pettite is still pitching because he came clean with the feds.

He should invest in a tongue scraper.
