He can still hit.  Lefty who could platoon with Luke Scott.  Plays 1B.  Probably not going to be too expensive.  Seems like a solid guy to have in the clubhouse.  His OPS was over 1.0 last year in a platoon role in Minnesota.  I've always been a big fan.  When he hits the ball, he really can crush it.  Provides the versatility of having Scott and himself in the lineup if you want to split them up in the order. 

Guerrero can still hit but he's probably not a solid option at first base.  Jorge Cantu?  I don't think so. 

What do you think?  If he's available, may be worth making a one year deal to tide the O's over until better options are available.
