Someone make a case for it being someone other than Lebron, Givens or Avery.

LJ Hoes has an awesome name

Nah, I voted Lebron. I could still see someone voting Hoes on those grounds though. We’re talking about kids that are damn near unprojectable (at least somewhat accurately) at this point anyway.

I voted for Givens

But i could see a case for Berry. If he doesn’t get hurt, which is a big if, he has the chance to move fast and he has a pretty high ceiling. I dont see why Lebron is here, just cause he throws hard? He doesn’t seem like much of an impact prospect.

13.09 K/9?

I dunno. I obviously gravitate strongly away from comparing amateur prospects with pro prospects. Berry hasn’t thrown a professional pitch yet, while Lebron allowed an opposing batting average of under .150 in AA. That said, I clearly voted for Avery.

The funny thing about Lebron...

…is that he is close to being a three true outcomes pitcher.

Now, he could still be valuable with that skillset, if he keeps the walks below 5 per 9. But I tend to agree he’s being overrated some.

Patton, Tolliver and Drake seem like good canidates. I dont think i would put Florimon Jr in our top 20

Definitely Patton...

….after that I’d say Tolliver, Beal, Bundy, Henry and Wirsch should be the next group of additions.

Not Pedro

Only one good year in 4. He’ll need one more to make me a believer. I’d say Matt Angle. No power, but uses the bat well, and probably the best defensive OF I’ve seen in many years.

He had control and a plus knuckle curve in college...

….and it is a pity his arm will probably fall off. Still, should be interesting to see him pitch professionally.
